Scientists on the "Alpha Helix"

In April-May of 1979 an international group of scientists visited seagrass beds in the Australian waters of the Torrey Straits using the Alpha Helix as a base of operations. Pat Parker is 4th from the right.

PLP and a dino-bone

In June of 2000 Pat Parker, along with Dick Scalan and Warren Pulich, visited the Dinosaur National Monument near Vernal Utah while on a camping trip from Texas to Wyoming and back. Here is Patrick standing next to a dino-bone. (Diplodocus??)

PLP - Mt. Adolphus Isl., Austr.

Pat Parker sits on the floor of a cave in the mountain-side of Mount Adolphus Island. It is located off the tip of the York Peninsula in the Torrey Straits between Australia and Papua, New Guinea at 10 deg. 38 min. S and 142 deg. 39 min. E.

The "Thompson" house at Steven's Creek before PLP's restoration

Pat Parker decided to restore this 108-year-old home after his retirement. He started by building large "jacks" to straighten the house in two dimensions.
